Individual Fundraising/Donation Suggestions
We are always looking for different ways to fundraise for our ongoing KNGO projects. Examples of individual fundraising opportunities include:
Birthdays: If you are having a birthday and would like to ask friends and relatives to 'donate' an amount as your birthday gift toward one of our KNGO projects, we can provide details, instructions and a link for you to send to your potential birthday donors. OR, or if you would like to 'gift' a donation to a friend or relative for their birthday, this can also be arranged.
Group Donations: (eg Family Christmas, Workplace Social Committees, Community Clubs etc)
Small contributions by a group of individuals can make a huge difference. We can provide detailed project information for your consideration and we are also available to provide presentations to your workplace or community club if you would prefer. Suitable projects include:
The Ultimate gift! We recently had a grandmother who decided to donate the amount she would normally spend on her family's Christmas gifts to someone less fortunate. The donation was enough to build a house for a desperate family living in poverty which provided them with a life changing opportunity.
"Instead of Christmas presents in 2021 our family decided to gift whatever we would have spent on presents towards building a house for a family in the KNGO Housing project in Cambodia. It was easy! No deciding what to buy for someone who has everything! We would be giving to a family that has so little that our gift makes a big difference. For less than $1400 AUD our Cambodian family of 6 has a watertight house and toilet that is theirs. It was our whole family’s pleasure to contribute to this worthwhile project." Gail Waterhouse and family
ALL DONATIONS MADE THROUGH THESE INITIATIVES ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

Eumundi Market Car ParkingEach month, KNGO Australia provides volunteers to 'work' at the Eumundi Market Car Parks (Sunshine Coast Hinterland). The Eumundi Combined Community Organisation who manage the car parks, donate an hourly amount for each of our volunteer shifts. These donations help to fund our Cambodian education program immensely and we are grateful to ECCO for this ongoing opportunity. We are always looking for volunteers to assist on a monthly basis. If you can help and can spare a few hours each month on Wednesday or Saturday mornings, please contact us for further details. Parking co-ordinator: Sandra Robinson Phone: 0402 655 360 Email: [email protected] Full training will be provided and it is quite a social and enjoyable experience. |
