Our Story
Khmer New Generation Organisation Australia Limited (KNGO Australia) is a not-for-profit charity established on the Sunshine Coast in Australia in 2014. We are registered with the ACNC as a benevolent institution with DGR status (donation tax deductibility) to support the KNGO school and community in Bospo Village, Battambang, Cambodia.
Our Work
KNGO Australia has been providing the majority of funding, technical advice, mentoring and support to the KNGO Cambodian management team, teachers and students for over 7 years.
Bospo Village, on the outskirts of Battambang in rural Cambodia is a very poor community and most KNGO students come from disadvantaged families living in extreme poverty. In an effort to break this cycle of poverty, families are encouraged to send their children to the KNGO school for free supplementary education to improve their chances of obtaining sustainable employment.
KNGO aims to improve family housing, living conditions and the lives of children and youth through education.
Our Vision
KNGO’s vision is to resolve social and community issues so that children in the communities have a better life in the future.
