Project Vietnam Inc. (PVI)
Each year, PVI, in conjunction with KNGO Australia take a volunteer working party to Cambodia to provide housing for poor families from local villages. Working with local families to provide housing is a rewarding experience and many volunteers return year after year.
Maintenance work at the KNGO Cambodia school, together with class room assistance is also provided by the volunteers. The children enjoy the interaction and the chance to try out their English.
PVI sponsor a part time Librarian at the school and also provide funding for scholarships and support for students who relocate to Phnom Penh at the end of their schooling to attend dental training at CWF.
The partnership with PVI is ongoing and makes such a difference to the children and their families of Bospo Village and surrounds.
Due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, PVI has generously donated funds for emergency food relief for the community. As the working party was been unable to visit Cambodia in 2021, PVI has continued to donate funds allowing local builders to provide houses for those in desperate need.
